Your tour begins with your arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. Enroute Leh you will be mesmerized by the panoramic views of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum, and the Nun Kun Mountain Massif from the plane.

Our friendly guide will be there to greet you upon your arrival and accompany you to your hotel. Take your time to acclimatize to the high altitude and immerse yourself in the charm of Leh. You can spend the day exploring the local markets and bazaars, getting a taste of the Ladakhi culture through its unique handicrafts and local products.

In the evening, return to your hotel and indulge in a delicious dinner, followed by a restful night’s sleep to rejuvenate for the adventures ahead.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Leh, it’s time to check out and begin your journey to Sham Valley. You will descend along the scenic Indus river on the Leh-Kargil Highway, and make your first stop at the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the Indian Army, which is a must-visit for every Indian.

After this, you will continue your drive to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a Sikh shrine nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, which is known for its spiritual significance and breathtaking surroundings. The next stop will be the gravity-defying magnetic hill, where vehicles seem to defy the laws of gravity and roll uphill.

You will then proceed towards the ancient Spituk Monastery, built in the 15th century, perched on a cliff like a citadel, and learn about its rich history and cultural significance. Enroute the monastery, you will travel through picturesque landscapes towards the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.

In the evening, you will have some free time to explore the local markets for some last-minute souvenir shopping. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at a hotel in Sham Valley, surrounded by the serene beauty of the region.

After having a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Leh via Lamayuru. This small village is home to one of the oldest monasteries in the Ladakh region. Set amidst picturesque craggy cliffs, the Lamayuru monastery is a peaceful haven that dates back to the 11th century. Here you may marvel at the rich collection of wall canvases, carpets, artifacts, and statues that adorn this ancient monastery, showcasing its cultural and historical significance.

Lamayuru is also renowned for its lunar landscape and Yuru Kabgya, a grand festival in which a captivating dance is done by the lamas wearing masks, followed by sacred rituals to pay homage to various Buddhist deities, adding to its spiritual allure.

After immersing yourself in the tranquility of Lamayuru, continue your ride towards the Alchi Gompa, a complex of temples located within the village. This renowned monastery, dating back to the 11th century, is quite famous because of its exquisite art and architecture, including intricate wood carvings, frescoes, and statues. Feel free to explore the ancient halls and courtyards of the monastery, and soak in some spiritual vibes.

In the evening, return to Leh and enjoy a delectable dinner at your hotel. Relax and rejuvenate to prepare for another day of beautiful experiences.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast, you will proceed towards the beautiful Nubra Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers”. The road to Nubra Valley will take you through the renowned Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world at an elevation of 18,390 feet. You may capture the breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged mountains and vast valleys from the pass, and then continue your journey towards the Nubra Valley.

As you descend into the Nubra Valley, be prepared to be enchanted by its stunning landscape which comprises meandering rivers, sand dunes, and vast deserts, Nubra Valley is a treasure trove of natural beauty that will leave you awe-struck.

Upon arrival in the Nubra Valley, check-in at your camp or hotel and take some time to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner and spend a memorable night at your hotel or camp, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Nubra Valley.

Wake up to a fresh new morning and relish a delightful breakfast. After this, you will embark on a unique adventure – a ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel! These rare and majestic creatures can be found in the middle of the sand dunes of the high altitude desert, with snow-capped mountains as a breathtaking backdrop. Enjoy the thrill of riding these gentle giants as you explore the stunning scenery between Diskit and Hunder, which encompasses rocky fields, snow-capped peaks, and rolling sand dunes.

After the camel ride, visit the Diskit Monastery, perched atop a peak, from where you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the picturesque Nubra Valley. Marvel at the ancient architecture and spiritual ambiance of this monastery, which is an important Buddhist site in the region.

In the afternoon, begin your return journey to Leh, and upon arrival, you can explore the local market on your own to experience the culture and lifestyle of the locals.

Savour a delicious breakfast, check-out from your hotel and plunge on a scenic ride to the Pangong Lake, a mesmerizing blue lake nestled in the Himalayas. En-route the lake, visit the Shey Palace, the old capital of Ladakh, famous for its appearance in the Bollywood film ‘3 Idiots’ as Rancho’s school.

Then continue your ride towards the Thiksey Monastery, a renowned Buddhist monastery known for its grandeur and spiritual significance. Enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes from this hilltop monastery.

After this, you will be passing through Chang La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. As soon as you cross the pass, you will see picturesque small hamlets and beautiful scenic landscapes that will make the journey quite charming.

Finally, arrive at the magnificent Pangong Lake, known for its azure blue waters that seem to stretch endlessly against the backdrop of rugged mountains. After spending some time by the lake, you will check-in at your camp and immerse yourself in the serenity of this stunning natural wonder.

En-route Leh, you will visit the Hemis Gompa, one of the largest and most revered monasteries of the Drukpa Kagyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Marvel at the monastery’s ancient architecture, intricate murals, and soak in some spiritual vibes before continuing your journey towards Leh.

Upon arrival in Leh, check-in at your hotel and take some time to relax and rejuvenate. Later, visit the local market, known for its vibrant atmosphere and unique souvenirs.

Come back to your hotel in the evening for a delicious dinner and a cozy overnight stay

Today, have a delicious breakfast and begin your journey towards Tso Moriri. En-route the lake, you will visit Chumathang, which is known for its medicinal hot springs. Take a refreshing bath in the healing waters to soothe your senses.

After this, you will pass through the Mahey Bridge and will soon reach the Sumdah village. Here you may replenish yourself with some tea and some snacks (at your own expense). After covering a distance of about 55 kilometers, you will reach the Tso Moriri Lake, located at an altitude of 14,000 feet near the small village of Korzok.

Upon arrival at Tso Moriri, check-in at your camp/homestay and enjoy the evening by yourself, soaking in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Tso Moriri Lake is a pristine high-altitude lake surrounded by towering peaks, and is known for its rich biodiversity. It has recently been opened to foreigners due to its proximity to the Chinese border. It is known for its wild and magnificent landscapes, and serves as a breeding ground for numerous species of birds, including the bar-headed goose, crested grebe, Brahmini duck (ruddy Sheldrake), and the brown-headed gull.

Later, come back to the camp for an appetizing dinner and a peaceful sleep amidst the serene beauty of this remote and stunning destination.

After a hearty breakfast, you will visit the Korzok Monastery, which is a 350-year-old monastery nestled in the midst of the majestic Rupshu valley. The monastery is home to at least 33 resident monks who belong to the yellow sect of Buddhism.

Keep your eyes peeled for spotting some exotic wildlife such as the “Kyang” or Wild Ass, Red fox, Snow Leopard, Black Necked Cranes, and Geese Flock as you ride through the pristine Rupshu valley.

Soon, you will enter the fertile Indus valley and you’ll notice the landscape change with irrigated fields and pretty villages dotted along the way. The road improves, and you’ll cross the Indus River before heading towards Leh. The multi-hued mountains around you add to the beauty and richness of the environment, making it a truly breathtaking journey. You’ll pass by Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and the Chortens Gardens as you approach Leh.

Upon arrival at Leh, check-in at your hotel and relax after a day of scenic driving. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll around the market area for some last-minute memento shopping.

Later come back to your hotel to grab a delicious dinner and a restful sleep.
