You will be greeted on your arrival by a friendly & a professional cab driver who will take you to your hotel in Shimla. As you ascend towards Shimla, you will be dazzled by the beauty of the mountains as you travel through the Himalayan Expressway. You will experience a drop in temperature as you ascend further towards Shimla.

On your arrival in Shimla, you may check-in to your hotel to grab a quick rest before setting off to visit the major attractions of Shimla like the Jakhoo Temple, the Ridge and the Mall Road.

Come back to your hotel in the evening for a restful sleep and a delicious dinner.

Day 2Shimla: Local Sightseeing

Today is an interesting day as you will be visiting some of the most sought-after tourist attractions around Shimla i.e. Kufri; Mashobra, Naldehra & Tattapani; or Narkanda.

On the way to Kufri & Narkanda, you will be passing along the Hassan valley which is the second densest forest in Asia It falls under the water catchment area of Shimla. On reaching Kufri, you may take the pony ride towards Mahasu, indulge in adventure activities and visit the Kufri Zoo. After this you may have your lunch at the Chini Bungla (at your own expense). Later you will head back towards Shimla in the evening.

If you plan to travel towards Naldehra & Tattapani, you will be in for a mesmerizing & thrilling boat ride on the Satluj river. Here you may choose to bathe in the government approved hot water springs or maybe sit & have lunch on the banks of the river, but be cautious and don’t go too close to the water. Later, you will head towards Naldehra, where you will visit the Naldehra Golf Course for a mesmerizing sunset. After this, you will head back towards Shimla for an overnight stay and a yummy dinner.

The third option is to travel towards Narkanda, which is also one of the popular Skiing destinations in India. Here you will be taken to the Hatu Peak, where you may seek the blessings of Hatu Mata and enjoy a panoramic view of the mighty Himalayas. Later, have a peaceful overnight stay in Narkanda.

It has a length of 9.02 km and is the longest tunnel in the World at an altitude of over 10,000 feet. It is named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and is a marvelous architectural wonder. This tunnel connects the Kullu valley to Lahaul.
