Day 1Delhi – Manali

Today, board the comfortable Volvo bus from the Volvo stand at Majnu Ka Tilla, ISBT, FSK Stadium, or RK Ashram Marg Metro Station in the evening.

After boarding the bus, sit back, relax, and enjoy the overnight journey from the northern plains to the picturesque valleys and winding roads of Himachal Pradesh.

Please note: Please ensure that you’ve had your meal before boarding the bus to enhance your travel experience. While the bus will make a stop along the way for dinner and refreshments, but the cost of dinner for tonight will be your responsibility.

Day 2Manali: Arrival & Sightseeing

Upon your arrival in Manali in the morning, our friendly agent will pick you from the Volvo Stand and then escort you to your cozy hotel, where you will feast on a delicious breakfast, and check-in to your room (subject to availability) to grab a little rest and freshen up.

After that, you will begin your sightseeing tour of Manali around 11:30 am and will visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Old Manali Market, Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs, The Mall Road, and the Tibetan Monastery (Himalayan Nyinmapa Buddhist Monastery).

In the evening, you will return to the hotel to savour a delicious dinner and to grab a restful night’s sleep.

Day 3Manali – Solang – Sissu

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and then prepare to embark on an exciting journey from Manali to Sissu via the Atal Tunnel.

Enroute Sissu, you will also visit the Solang Valley, which is a popular attraction that boasts of a beautiful view of snow-clad peaks and verdant meadows. Here, you can also indulge in various adventure activities like skiing, paragliding, zorbing, quad biking, horse riding, ropeway rides, etc.

After enjoying some thrilling adventures at Solang, you will continue your journey towards the Atal Tunnel, which is the world’s longest single tube highway tunnel built at an altitude above 3,000 metres (10,000 feet). This tunnel is about 9 kilometres long and connects Manali on the South to Lahaul-Spiti on the North.

Soon after crossing the Atal Tunnel, you will reach Sissu, which is located on the right bank of the Chandra River. Here, you will check-in to your luxurious resort / campsite to grab a little rest. You are then free to take a leisurely stroll along the riverbank, immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings, and capture some memorable photographs.

In the evening, return to your resort / campsite to savour a delicious meal and to retire for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Day 4Sissu – Kasol

Today, wake up, have a hearty breakfast, and then embark on a picturesque journey from Sissu to Kasol, a beautiful hamlet located in the Parvati valley that has been the favourite destination for a lot of local and international tourists alike.

Enroute Kasol, you have an option to either indulge in a thrilling rafting session on the Beas River or visit Naggar, a small town between Manali and Kullu that served as the capital of the Kullvi empire. Here, you will visit the famous Naggar Castle, which is a magnificent heritage structure dating back to the 15th century. It is renowned for its unique Kaathkuni architecture, intricate wood carvings and for offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Apart from that, you will also visit a local Shawl factory to learn more about the art of weaving beautiful shawls. Here, you can also choose to buy some shawls and other textile handicrafts for your loved ones, or as souvenirs.

You will then continue your journey towards Kasol, which is also known as “Mini Israel” due to its significant Israeli population and influence that is evident in its cafes, restaurants, and vibrant street art. En route Kasol, marvel at the scenic beauty of the Himalayan foothills, dense forests, and meandering rivers.

Upon reaching Kasol, check into your accommodation and freshen up before heading out to explore the village, which offers a unique blend of natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere. Here, you are free to explore the bustling streets lined with cafes, shops, and art galleries. Apart from that, you may choose to interact with fellow travellers from around the world, or maybe sit by the banks of the gushing Parvati River (but don’t go too close as the flow of the water is too fast).

In the evening, return to your cozy hotel to enjoy a delicious dinner and to have a restful night’s sleep.

Day 5Kasol: Local Sightseeing & Departure

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast, and then set out to explore some of the key attractions in and around Kasol.

Post breakfast, you will head towards Manikaran, which is a popular pilgrimage centre for both Hindus and Sikhs, as it houses the famous Shiva Temple and the Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib. Apart from that, manikaran is also renowned for its hot springs where you may relax and also witness the rice being prepared naturally.

After spending some quality time at Manikaran, you will come back to Kasol. Here, you my cross the Chalal Bridge and walk for about 20 minutes along the Parvati River to reach the small yet quaint village of Chalal, which is not only known for its picturesque location, but also for offering a tranquil ambiance for you to relax amidst nature.

In the evening, return to Kasol to relish a delicious dinner and to board the Volvo bus for your journey back to Delhi.

As you sit back comfortably in the luxurious bus, you will surely recall all the memorable experiences and stunning landscapes you encountered during this enchanting trip to Kullu Manali.
