Day 1Shimla: Arrival & Sightseeing

On your arrival in Chandigarh, our friendly agent will pick you from the airport , railway station or the ISBT, and escort you to the charming hill station of Shimla, that once served as the Summer Capital of India during the British Era.

This scenic drive takes approximately 3-4 hours, and you will witness a drop in temperature as you ascend further towards Shimla. En route, you will pass through Solan, a major town in Himachal that is known as the “Mushroom Capital of India”.

Upon your arrival in Shimla, you will check in to your hotel to relax and freshen up. In the evening, you will set off to explore the vibrant Mall Road, which is a popular spot for shopping and savouring some delicious local & international delicacies.

Here, you will also visit the Christ Church, a historic landmark, and the Ridge, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

Later, you will return to your hotel to relish a scrumptious dinner and to have a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2Shimla: Local Sightseeing

Wake up to a fresh new day in the Queen of the Hills, relish a hearty breakfast, and then you will begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the Jakhoo Temple, which is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. This temple has a immense religious significance as it is believed to be built at the site where Lord Hanuman took rest while carrying the Sanjeevani Booti. The temple offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains.

After soaking in the spiritual atmosphere and breathtaking views, you will proceed to Kufri, which is a popular yet quaint hill station near Shimla. Enroute Kufri, you will make a stop at the Hassan Valley, which is also known as the Green Valley. This valley is known for the awe-inspiring views of the dense pine and deodar forests, that is considered as the densest forest in South Asia.

Soon, you will continue your journey to Kufri, where you will saddle up for an exciting pony ride to the Mahasu Peak, which is considered as the highest point in Kufri. The ride takes you through winding trails surrounded by towering trees, leading to the peak where you can enjoy mesmerizing views of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges.

After this, you will visit the Kufri Zoo, which is home to a variety of Himalayan wildlife, including the leopard, brown bear, himalayan wolf, and rare antelope species.

This will be followed by a visit to an amusement park, where you can indulge in a range of thrilling activities like zip-lining, reverse bungee, and more (tickets at your own expense).

In the evening, you will return to Shimla, where you have the option to take a leisurely stroll on the Mall Road. Later, return to your hotel to have a delicious dinner and to have a nice restful sleep.

Day 3Shimla – Manali

Today, wake up, freshen up, have a healthy breakfast and then you will begin your journey from Shimla to Manali. The journey takes around 6 – 7 hours, and you will be travelling through the lush valleys, towering mountains, and along winding rivers.

En route Manali, you will make your first stop at Bhuntar, which is a small town nestled in the Kullu Valley. Here, you will visit the famous Shawl Factory, where you can witness the intricate process of shawl weaving, which is a craft that has been passed down through generations. You can shop for exquisite handmade shawls, pashminas, and other traditional Himachali woollen products to take back home as souvenirs or gifts.

After this, you will continue your journey towards Naggar, which is a historic village that was once the capital of the Kullvi State. Here, you will explore the Naggar Castle, an ancient structure that dates back to the 15th century. This palace was once the residence of the Kullu kings, and has been now converted into a heritage hotel and a museum. The castle offers a fascinating glimpse into the region’s royal past, with its blend of European and Himalayan architecture.

After exploring Naggar, you will resume your journey to Manali, where you will be greeted by the sight of verdant apple orchards and the sound of the Beas River flowing alongside the road. Upon your arrival in Manali, you will check in to your hotel to relax and unwind after a day of travel. Here, you will feast on a delectable dinner, before settling for a restful sleep.

Day 4Manali: Local Sightseeing

Today, wake up to a fresh new day in Manali, have an appetizing breakfast and then you will begin your sightseeing tour of Manali with a visit to the historic Hadimba Devi Temple, which is nestled amidst a serene cedar forest. This ancient temple is a wonderful example of the local architecture and is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba (the wife of Bheem).

Next, you will head towards Van Vihar to take a leisurely stroll through this beautiful park that is known for its lush greenery and tall deodar trees.

From there, you will head to the Club House or to Vashisht. If you choose to visit the Club House, you can indulge in a variety of adventure activities here like zorbing, river crossing, etc.

But, if you choose to proceed towards Vashisht, you will visit the Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs. The temple is dedicated to the sage Vashisht, and the natural hot springs are believed to have healing properties. Here, you can take a dip in the warm, soothing waters, which is an experience that should not to be missed.

After rejuvenating at the hot springs, you have the option to embark on a short trek to the Jogini Falls, which is a beautiful waterfall located near the Vashisht Village. The trail to the falls is scenic, that takes you through apple orchards, small streams, and pine forests. Upon reaching the falls, you’ll be rewarded with the sight of water cascading down from a height, creating a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere.

This will be followed by a visit to the Tibetan Monastery, which is a peaceful haven in the heart of Manali. The monastery is a beautiful example of Tibetan architecture and culture, featuring vibrant prayer flags, spinning prayer wheels, and a tranquil ambiance that invites reflection and meditation.

As the day winds down, we will drop you near the Mall Road to let you explore Manali’s bustling main street at your own pace.

Finally, you will visit the charming Old Manali Market, which is known for its bohemian vibe and eclectic mix of shops selling everything from handmade jewellery to unique clothing. This area is also known for its vibrant nightlife, with several cozy cafés offering live music and a relaxed atmosphere.

Later, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and to have a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5Manali – Solang – Atal Tunnel / Rohtang

We recommend you to wake up a bit early today to make the most of your day. You will start your day today with an early breakfast before heading out to the stunning Solang Valley, which is just a short drive away from Manali.

The Solang Valley is surrounded by majestic snow-covered peaks, the valley is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. It is known for offering an array of thrilling activities such as paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (seasonal).

After enjoying the vibrant activities in Solang Valley, you have the option to explore either the Atal Tunnel or the Rohtang Pass.

If you choose to visit the Atal Tunnel, you will drive through an engineering marvel that stretches over 9 kilometers, making it the longest highway tunnel in the world situated at an altitude of more than 10,000 feet. This tunnel connects Manali to the Lahaul-Spiti Valley, offering you an opportunity to see the transition from lush green landscape to the rocky mountain area on the other side. You also have the option to enjoy an overnight stay in Sissu, but you need to inform us while booing the tour, so that we can make all the necessary arrangements for your stay.

But, if you choose to visit the Rohtang Pass, you will travel through winding roads to reach this high mountain pass that is located at an elevation of 13,050 feet. Here, you will not only have the opportunity to witness beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and valleys, but will also have numerous opportunities to indulge in various snow activities like sledging, quad biking and snowball fights.

Please note: The access to Rohtang Pass and the Atal Tunnel is subject to weather conditions and government regulations. In case these sites are not accessible, you can enjoy additional time exploring Solang Valley or other nearby attractions.

After a day filled with adventure and stunning scenery, you will return to Manali in the evening, where you may spend the evening exploring Manali on your own. Later, return to your hotel to savour a delicious dinner and to have a restful sleep.

Day 6Manali – Kasol

Wake up to another refreshing day, have a leisurely breakfast, and then you will begin your journey to Kasol, which is a small village in the Parvati Valley of Kullu, that is often referred to as “Mini Israel”.

On the way to Kasol, you have the option to partake in an adrenaline-pumping rafting session on the Beas River. The river rafting on the Beas is performed under the supervision of expert professionals and you will love gliding through the thrilling rapids and along scenic surroundings.

After this unforgettable rafting, you will continue your drive to the picturesque Parvati Valley. Soon, you will reach Kasol, where you will check-in to your hotel to grab a little rest and to freshen up.

After this, you are free to explore this little town on your own. Here, you can stroll along the riverbank, visit the quaint cafés, and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of this beautiful hamlet.

Later, return to your cozy hotel to relish a delectable dinner and to have a sweet night’s sleep.

Day 7Kasol – Manikaran – Malana

We recommend you to wake up a bit earlier today, as you will exploring some of the most popular yet exotic destinations within the Parvati Valley.

You will start your day after breakfast and will first head towards the sacred town of Manikaran, that is known for being a home to both a Gurudwara as well as an ancient Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva & Lord Rama. Apart from that, it is known for its hot springs, which are believed to possess various healing powers. Here you can take dip in the hot waters to soothe your senses. After that, you can visit the temple, as well as the Gurudwara to seek the blessings from the divine. You can also feast on the delicious langar (God’s meal for the community) at the Gurudwara before bidding farewell to the town of Manikaran.

After Manikaran, you will be visiting the Malana Village, which is a secluded and ancient village that is steeped deep in a mysterious history, rich cultural heritage and unique traditions. Malana is often referred to as one of the oldest democracies in the world, with a distinct culture and social structure that sets it apart from the rest of the region. This village is famous for its traditional wooden houses, the ancient Jamlu Temple, and its strict customs, including limited interaction with outsiders. As you explore Malana, you’ll get a glimpse into a way of life that has remained largely untouched by the outside world., making it a must-visit for those interested in history, culture, and breathtaking natural beauty.

Please note: The journey to Malana requires a moderate trek to reach, and the journey through its narrow pathways offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

After immersing yourself in the unique culture of Malana, you will return to Kasol, where you have the option to stay overnight (at an additional expense) or else you can take some time to relax and refresh before your departure.
